The Sweater Dress

Pumpkin spice lattes, hot mulled cider served with a cinnamon stick, amber scented candles…warm and cozy days ahead. As sweater weather is approaching and the cool temperatures are inevitably making their way I can’t help, but think of not just a sweater, but one of my favourites, the sweater dress! 

Effortlessly chic and comfortable but a go-to fall selection with endless styles and ways to wear it.  This season, I’m loving the balloon sleeve, cable-knit, and my personal favourite, the turtleneck silhouette. From short to midi to floor-length this versatile choice also provides, first and foremost, comfort which is of the utmost importance these days – making this item the perfect choice for your virtual meeting to running errands or simply going for a much-needed walk – here are a few of my favourite looks!

So whether you choose to stay in and curl up by the fire, indulge in movie night, or attend a family game night, this staple is an excellent choice for any occasion. 

Add a belt, a statement necklace, and a handbag to compliment the style you opt for and planned outing. For footwear, pair with a kitten-heel, ankle booties, quintessential loafer, or a sneaker to downplay the casualness. Or perhaps you want to spice things up with the knee-high boot and stiletto to elevate the entire look up a notch… although these days those choices are reserved for rare occasions.
